This blend of spices from Turkey varies depending upon which spice merchant you work with. Ours comes from a family friend in the spice bazaar of Istanbul. He combines black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, cumin, nutmeg, red and black pepper. It's a complex and heady fragrance with great flavor.
