As with all of his pastas, this casarecce is entirely handmade and has a wonderful texture to hold your favorite sauce. This casarecce is made using a blend of farro and rye flours grown in the Langa area of Italy's Piedmont region.


These nutrient rich grains are stone ground to maintain as much of the healthy characteristics of the grain as possible.

Cook this pasta in boiling water for about seven to seven and a half minutes. If you are using a sauce, cook it for a bit less time and finish it in a pot with the sauce to fully integrate the flavors. Otherwise, when it is cooked, toss it with a bit of butter and some grated Parmigiano-Reggiano and serve immediately.
