Our store is best known for its fine cheese selection but we also stock a wide range of other delicious foodstuffs, including: charcuterie, produce, baked goods, prepared foods, coffee, tea, chocolates, bread, sweets, honey, preserves, wine, beer, olive oil, vinegar and other pantry staples.
Mail Order Manager
Are you passionate about fine foods and wine and looking for full-time employment with one of the country's top fine food retailers? Currently. we are looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious person to manage our mail-order department. Responsibilities include receiving and processing orders received through our website and over the phone, maintaining and ordering shipping supplies, and assisting in other tasks as directed. You must be detail-oriented, extremely reliable, have a fantastic customer service focus, and be able to effectively self-manage your time. Required hours during the holiday season will include nights and weekends. Our business is fast-paced and is run with high expectations. We expect applicants to have a desire to work with people with diverse backgrounds and to understand the fundamentals of hospitality. Hours will be anywhere from 40-45 hours per week. We are also looking for a motivated, self starting, hard working food lover with a thirst for knowledge to help us in a variety of departments. Responsibilities will vary from day to day including registers, produce, bakery and inventory support. Staffers are crossed trained in most departments and are encouraged to find their own passions within the store. We have an immediate need for a delivery driver and inventory supervisor. This job is requires a great deal of organization, reliability and personability. Driving area is throughout Boston and areas north and west of Cambridge. A valid MA license and clean driving record are required.
